New Delhi: As many as seven States and UTs including Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Island, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Sikkim on Thursday have recorded minimal Covid-19 vaccination that prompts the centre to ask all states to speed up the immunisation process.
All these seven states and UTs recorded less than thousand vaccination on the day when India registered 1,92,581 numbers from across the country.
There are no reports of serious and severe adverse event following immunisation (AEFI) till date.
The health ministry has said that a total of 9,99,065 beneficiaries have been vaccinated as on date from 18,159 session sites. In an effort to increase the vaccination numbers, the ministry has allowed creation of more session sites, more session per site and also change in site allocation.
Further enhancing the Co-WIN software, the ministry has allowed for planning and scheduling of seasons for the entire week.
