New Delhi:Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the evaluation process for class 12th students on Wednesday. The marking scheme has been prepared by a high-level 13-member committee. The committee has adopted a well-defined objective criteria for the evaluation of Class 12 students. Details of the evaluation of the marks to be awarded to the students will be made available on the website of the CBSE.
The Centre on June 1 announced that the CBSE Board Class 12th examinations have been cancelled in the wake of the prevalent Covid situation. The decision comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a review meeting regarding the Class 12th Board exams of CBSE. Earlier, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, an educational affiliated with the RSS, has also sent two proposals on the evaluation of class 12th board examination by submitting a memorandum to Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', School Education Secretary Anita Karwal and Central Board of Secondary Education Secretary Anurag Tripathi.

The organisation also suggested that results of the 10th and 11th examinations be factored in while declaring the 12th board examination results by including 3 per cent marks of class 10th, 20 per cent of 11th and 50 per cent marks of class 12th. As an alternative, it suggested the formula of including 20 per cent marks of class 10th, 20 per cent of 11th and 60 per cent marks of 12th, to evaluate 12th board exams results.
