Aurangabad (Bihar): Former Union Minister and BJP leader Dr. Sanjay Paswan held talks with top Maoist leader Jagdish Master in Kasma of Rafiganj block of Aurangabad district on Monday. The Centre mulls holding talks with Maoists and hence has handed the responsibility to former Union Minister and member of BJP National Working Committee, Sanjay Paswan. The BJP leader having spoken to Jagdish Master for about two hours, discussed on several important issues and has reportedly advised the Maoists to establish a dialogue with the PM Modi government by keeping faith in the Constitution of India. Jagdish Master, is a top Maoist leader and a member of the CPI-Maoist's Politburo and Military Commission.
After the meeting, Paswan said that he had come from Patna on behalf of his organization 'Kabir Ke Log' to establish dialogue with the Maoist leader, adding that further meetings can be held in Delhi and Patna to iron out the differences. He added that Maoists are also people of this country, and that there should be a dialogue with them, instead of disputes.
