New Delhi:Former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Jharkhand's Hazaribagh, Jayant Sinha has slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the post-poll violence in the state in which a dozen people were killed.
In a video message, Sinha said that violence and vicious political attacks in Bengal have not only embarrassed the entire country but also dispirited the essence of democratic dignity.
"I appeal to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to take necessary steps to stop this orgy of violence which continues unabated. She needs to stop the violence and peacefully fight the battle against COVID-19," he added.
