Patna: A day after an IndiGo Airlines Manager, Rupesh Kumar Singh, was shot dead in Patna, the BJP expressed its deep concern over the deteriorating law and order in Bihar. Rajya Sabha member and BJP MP Vivek Thakur sought strict action against police and expressed his concern over the increasing crime graph in the state and put Nitish-led regime in dock.
Condemning the murder of Rupesh Kumar Singh, the leader said, "The murder incident is extremely unfortunate and panic has triggered in the area. Singh was a soft-spoken person and maintained warm equations with everyone. Police should immediately intervene and must take strict action."
He said the police should produce results in the next few days.
The BJP leader also said that the Chief Minister should take action against police officers for 'dereliction on duty'. Thakur alleged that the murder happened due to laxity shown by police officers and the probe must be completed as soon as possible.
