Bihar: Youth arrested for threatening Mukesh Ambani

Police said that the accused Rakesh Mishra was taken to Mumbai by Mumbai Police following arrest. Darbhanga SSP Aakash Kumar said that the Mumbai Police team took him to Mumbai for further interrogation

Patna:A youth from Bihar has been arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly threatening Mukesh Ambani. Confirming the incident Darbhanga SSP Aakash Kumar said that the accused identified as Rakesh Kumar Mishra was arrested from the Manigachi police station area of Brahapura village of Darbhanga district.

He also said that the Mumbai Police team took him to Mumbai for further interrogation. Police sources said that a mobile phone has been recovered from the accused. According to police a Mumbai Police team reached the residence of the accused at around 4 pm on Wednesday. When the Mumbai Police officials knocked on the door Rakesh opened it, police said.

They further revealed that as soon as the door was opened, the police called on Rakesh's mobile and received the call. Then Rakesh was arrested. According to police Rakesh threatened to kill Mukesh Ambani and his family by calling on the landline number 1257 of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday and also threatened to blow up the hospital. However, locals said Rakesh suffers from mental illness. A similar threatening call was made to Reliance Foundation Hospital on August 15 this year.
