Delhi Pradesh Bharatiya Kisan Sangh also held a symbolic dharna at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Talking to ETV Bharat, Harpal Singh Dagar, President of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Delhi Pradesh, said that the Delhi Police was informed on 14 August about its plan to organise a one-day sit-in demonstration. He further added that he got a reply from Delhi Police through a WhatsApp message that permission for the event was not given. He added that due to a lack of mutual coordination among the officers of the Delhi Police, he could not get permission in time, but despite this, he is holding a dharna with a small number of workers.

Harpal Singh Dagar also said that he wants a legal provision for selling the farmers' crops at remunerative prices. There should be a provision for punitive action on the trader who buys for less than the fixed MSP, this is the only demand of today's protest demonstration. He further added that if the government does not accept the demand of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, then after 10-days the Kisan Sangh will announce the next strategy.
