YSR Congress MP demands security from LS speaker

YSR Congress MP Kanumuri Raghu Rama Krishna Raju claimed that he is facing a severe threat from Andhra Pradesh's local MLAs and his party leaders as he pointed out the flaws in the functioning of the state government. Rama Krishna Raju has now demanded security of Central Armed Forces from LS Speaker Om Birla.

Amravati: YSR Congress MP (Lok Sabha) from Narsapuram in West Godavari district, Kanumuri Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, has demanded security of Central Armed forces from the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday.

The leader claimed that he is facing a severe threat from the local MLAs in Andhra Pradesh and has sought security from the LS Speaker and the cops failed to register the complaint against the leaders.

In a letter written to Om Birla, he has mentioned all the past incidents stating that his personal assistant has also registered a complaint to the Superintendent of Police of West Godavari district.

According to hearsay, MLAs and some YSR Congress party leaders are upset with Rama Krishna Raju as he pointed out the loopholes and irregularities on the supply of sand, raised allegations on housing and other social welfare schemes and administrative issues of Andhra Pradesh government.

It is to be noted that earlier, State Election Commissioner N Ramesh Kumar had requested the Union Home Department to provide security claiming that Reddy-led government and some YSRCP followers were threatening him.
