Work is worship: Setting an example MBA graduate works as a sweeper in TN

An MBA graduate, Mukhtar Ahmed, who works as a sweeper in Tamil Nadu has set an example for all those who feel that only white collared jobs are considered good and noble.

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu):Work is worship is always said but only a few people are able to prove it.

Setting an example Mukhtar Ahmed a 35-year-old man, who hails from Kovai Kuniyamuthur and holds a Masters degree in Business administration is working as a sweeper in Tamil Nadu.

Unlike many graduates who finish their studies and begin searching for prestigious Government jobs. He works as a sweeper, considering it as a government job and a great one as well.

Many consider it as a job for illiterate but, Mukhtar took up this job even though after completing his MBA to prove that every job is a great job.

His great work starts at 5 O’clock in the morning and continues throughout the day. Even though he faces oppositions from his home, he considers this job as a noble one and continues it. Moreover, he teaches all the safety measures that he studied to his colleagues as well.

Mukhtar feels that sanitation work is a great job and it is equivalent to a medical job.

He also says that today’s youth who finish their studies and are in search for decent government jobs can expose their talents and come up in life if they join in this profession.

He said that even though he has faced opposition from his own family members when he has taken up this job, he convinced them and continues to work. He also stated that those who work with him didn’t show any discrimination toward him and are very supportive to him.

He proves to be an excellent example for those youngsters who think that there is no employment at all.
