Kasaragod (Kerala): Kudumbasree, a women’s Self Help Group society and a state mission in Kerala, is now all set to play cupid through the collective’s new marriage bureaus in Kasaragod district of Kerala.
Within just a few days since the launch, the marriage bureau has got more than 100 people registered with them entrusting them to find a perfect life partner. Most of those who have registered with the marriage bureau are men. This women’s collective initiative is to help these men find an ideal match for them.
Kudumbasree presently runs marriage bureaus function at Kanhangad and Kallar in Kasaragod district. The bureaus are being run by four Kudumbasree members.

When private players in the field charge a hefty amount for their services, one can register with the Kudumbasree marriage bureau at a very nominal, affordable rate and get their services. This is the USP of the Kudumbasree bureau. Registration fees have been fixed based on the educational qualification.

The venture would give priority services to widows and transgenders too. Besides, the girls registering with the marriage bureau would get three months of free service from them.
