Woman raped in Ajmer, case registered

Ajmer police have registered a case against a man who allegedly raped a woman in a field near her house on Wednesday. Station House Officer Satyender Negi said that the investigation is underway.

Ajmer: A woman was allegedly raped by a man in Ajmer on Wednesday.

The rape victim said that she had come to her father's home. A young man from her village who took her to the field and then raped her.

Station House Officer Satyender Negi said that a case has been registered and the investigation is underway.

"We received a complaint from a woman stating that she was raped by a man in her father's village on Wednesday. When the woman's family started searching for her, the accused left the victim near her house. A case has been registered," he said.
