Will keep working for Buxar's development: Ashwini Choubey

BJP’s Ashwini Kumar Choubey won against RJD’s Jagadanand Singh from Buxar Lok Sabha constituency which went to polls on May 19. In the last Lok Sabha elections also, the seat was won by Choubey by a margin of 1,32,338 votes.

New Delhi:Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Ashwini Kumar Choubey registered a comfortable victory by a margin of 1,32,338 votes from Buxar Lok Sabha seat by defeating Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Jagadanand Singh.

Talking to ETV Bharat, Choubey said," I will continue to work for the development of Buxar with full dedication. People from the area have lots of expectations from me this time. I will try my best to stand by their expectations. I thank people of Buxar for electing me as their representative and I will take full care of them."
When he was asked that the people of the constituency wants him to become a minister at the centre he said, "It's up to Narendra Modi to decide that who will be in the cabinet. I am here to serve the country."

"The opposition party had always criticised our Prime Minister. I was very much confident that we would secure 39 or all 40 seats," Choubey added.
