New Delhi: In India, massive rallies are at the heart of political campaigning during elections to reach out to voters amid the coronavirus pandemic and also several political parties are being forced to deepen their digital engagement with voters.
Commenting on this, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind's president Maulana Arshad Madani on Friday said that if this pandemic could not stop politicians from achieving their political gains and campaigning despite all their destruction, so how can the religious work is done by the Tablighi Jamaat affect the Muslims? So due to coronavirus pandemic, weakening in Tablighi activities can be harmful for organisation.
Speaking to media persons, Madani said," Jamat-e-Tabligh is a religious and international organisation. So in the current situation, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind considers it necessary to convey this message to every member of Jamaat Tabligh and also to every Muslim."
