Watch: Elephant chases wild dogs in Mudumalai forest

An elephant was seen playing in the Mudumalai forest region with wild dogs. The video went viral as it caught the attention of many tourists in the forest.

Nilgiri: In a viral video on the internet, an elephant is seen chasing the wild dogs playfully in the Mudumalai forest region in Tamil Nadu.

Mudumalai forest is a famous tourist destination in the northwestern side of the Nilgiri Hills or the Blue Mountains. It is a well renowned Tiger Reserve of India. Apart from tigers, the forest is home to more than 900 wild elephants, black panthers, leopards, sloth bears and dhols (wild dogs).

The forest has an elephant training camp, which trains elephants to capture wild elephants. There are around 26 tame and trained elephants in the camp.

This incident caught the attention of many tourists as they enjoyed watching the animals play together.
