New Delhi: Expressing concern over the "mounting attacks on Hindus" across India, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has sad that violent incidents against the majority community are on the rise and neither governments in the states doing enough to address the issue nor the country's media giving required attention to it.
Addressing an online press conference on Friday, VHP working president Alok Kumar said the Hindus are being targeted not only in non-BJP-ruled states but even in states where BJP in power. He urged the BJP-led NDA government at the centre to curb such incidents and punish elements involved in the attacks on the community in the country.
