Veeren Khanna to be sent for Narco Analysis Test

Special Court in Bengaluru has granted permission to CCB for conducting Narco test of Veeren Khanna. Police allege him of lying on mobile passwords and not disclosing information. The Sandalwood Drug case takes another turn as an ACP was found to be helping the accused.

Bengaluru: As Veeren Khanna, accused in Sandalwood Drug case, lied to Central Crime Branch Police (CCB), Bengaluru on drug peddling, the Special Court has granted permission to send him for Narco Analysis test

According to the police, he refused to cooperate during CCB's interrogation and lied on mobile passwords and other information. As there is no facility in Bengaluru for Narco Analysis test, Veeren Khanna will be taken to either Hyderabad or Ahmedabad.

He is alleged of organizing rave parties and supplying drugs to many actors and actresses in the case. He has not yet revealed any details on the peddling of drugs.

CCB has also arrested accused, actress Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjana Galrani. The key accused in the case, Aditya Alva, brother in law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and son of Former Minister Jeevraj Alva absconded since the case began.

Police also informed that Aditya has not yet contacted his family members and they suspect him of living abroad. But, ACP Mudhavi working in Chamarajpete Office was found to be leaking investigative information to the accused and their family.ACP dispatch report and corruption report are sent to the Commissioner. Based on the report submitted by Praveen Sood, ACP Mudhavi was suspended.

As per information, he contacted Veeren Khanna 84 times over phone and also passed information to Sanjana Galrani.
