Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar: The cabinet has approved removal of restrictions on the sale of farm goods. Farmers will be free to sell produce outside APMC. Farmers will be able to sell goods on electronic platforms and no taxes will be levied on the sale of produce by farmers outside APMC markets.

New Delhi:Union Ministers Prakash Javadekar and Narendra Singh Tomar addressed the media on the decisions made at today's meeting of the Cabinet.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired Union Cabinet meeting at Prime Minister’s Office, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari attended the meeting.
Union Ministers RS Prasad, Smriti Irani and Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank were also present in the meeting in Delhi.
On June 1, the Cabinet met for the first time since the Narendra Modi-led government entered its second year of office.
This was a day after the announcement of the calibrated easing of the nationwide lockdown.
