New Delhi:US President Donald Trump's advice to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on bilateral talks between India and Pakistan has strengthened India's stand on Kashmir in front of the world, said BJP MP Rakesh Sinha.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has claimed that the statement of the US saying that both the countries should resolve their issues through bilateral talks, is an indirect message for Pakistan.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Sinha said, "RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's statement on reservations is not controversial. RSS has never mentioned that it aims at ending reservations, but it has always talked about reanalyzing and improving it."
"The recent telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump is considered to be a major success for India on the Kashmir front," he added.
He went on to say, "What Trump has said now has always been India and Modi's stand."
Denying the allegations of Mayawati and Mamata Banerjee, he said, "While all the other countries are acknowledging India's decision on the modification of Article 370 in Kashmir, these politicians are trying to weaken India's stand at the national level."
He praised the modification of Article 370 in Kashmir and said that this step has integrated the rest of the country, while on the other hand, the opposition parties have become disputed. It is indeed a victory for the nation.
"Whatever the Prime Minister says from the ramparts of the Red Fort results in the implication of a new plan related to it," he said, implying that the PM mentioned 'population control' in his speech this year.
