New Delhi:Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that trade has a lot of dimensions and it helps in building relationships and also in catalysing investments.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony of the 39th India International Trade Fair (IIFT), Goyal said that trade will show the potential of India to the rest of the world.

The trade fair this year saw the footfall of around 5 lakh visitors and the minister hoped that after the revamp of Pragati Maidan to be completed next year, it will see more than 10 lakh visitors who will be able to not only buy the unique products from different parts of the country and the world but also have a complete experience of the city of Delhi.
"The government has also planned a revamp of Pragati Maidan and Rs 2,000 crore is being spent for the purpose," Goyal said.
"We have in this government planned a massive revamp of Pragati Maidan and Rs 2,000 crore is being spent (for the purpose)," the minister said.
Piyush Goyal also announced that the theme for IITF 2020 will be the 'Ease of Living' wherein ITPO should have a meaningful interface with all the stakeholders as well as trade and industry fraternity to carry forward India's success story in diverse fields.
Bihar won the gold medal for the best state pavilion for showcasing excellence in display at the 39th India International Trade Fair (IITF) that concluded today at Paragati Maidan in New Delhi. Assam received the silver medal while the bronze was presented to Andhra Pradesh.
