New Delhi:The top leadership of BJP should decide the Chief Minister candidate for Bihar in the next legislative assembly elections, said BJP leader CP Thakur.
Amid tussle between the BJP and JDU regarding the next CM candidate of NDA, Bihar deputy CM and Senior BJP leader Sushil Modi tweeted: "Nitish Kumar is the captain of NDA in the next assembly election."
Attacking him over this tweet, former Union Minister CP Thakur said that "Sushil Modi should not make the announcement of the next CM candidate of the state."
"It is the top leadership of BJP that should be doing it," he added.
Tussle between the BJP and JDU regarding the next CM candidate of NDA is taking an ugly turn. Senior BJP leader CP Thakur talks to ETV Bharat in New Delhi.
In a verbal tiff, BJP MLC Sanjay Paswan said, "Nitish Kumar should get involved in the central and leave BIhar politics."
Replying to this, Thakur said, "If Nitish Kumar joins the centre, on which post would he be? The PM, CM and DM have the most power and Kumar is the CM. He runs a state."
