6. Communication gap over 'Coronil' & 'Swasari' will be addressed with Ayush Ministry: Baba Ramdev
After Ayush Ministry suspended the promotion and advertisement of Pantanjali's Coronil and Swasari medicine to cure COVID19, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev issued a statement saying that all the doubts of the Ministry will be cleared. He also claimed that all the standard parameters of randomised placebo-controlled clinical trials have been 100% fulfilled by Patanjali.
7. 20,000 beds for COVID-19 patients in Delhi by next week: Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a tweet said that 20,000 beds, including 250 in ICUs, will be ready for COVID-19 patients in Delhi by next week. The Union Minister in a series of tweets the 10,000-bed COVID Care Centre will be operationalised by June 26. Responding to Shah's tweets, Delhi CM Kejriwal thanked Shah for helping his govt and Delhiites in these difficult times.
8. Spike in COVID cases in Telangana on, takes it ahead of AP, K'taka
Telangana has seen a huge spike in COVID-19 cases with 879 people testing positive on Tuesday. This is the highest single-day spike in the state taking the total tally to 9,553, overtaking both Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
