1.Farmers hold semi-nude protest in Delhi
Farmers protesting against three farm laws held a semi-nude protest at Burari DDA ground in Delhi on Thursday. Around 500 farmers from Punjab and Haryana are staying at Burari Ground and protesting against farm laws since 28th of December.
2.Mathura court to hear Krishna Janambhoomi plea in January
A district court on Thursday fixed January 7 as the next date for hearing into a petition seeking the removal of a mosque near a temple which the devouts believe marks the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The matter was adjourned as district judge Sadhna Rani Thakur was not available today.
3. Salman Khan starts shooting for 'Antim'
Salman Khan has begun shooting for his upcoming film, "Antim- The Final Truth", in which he reportedly plays a Sikh cop. Khan's brother-in-law and actor Aayush Sharma, who also stars in the film, took to Instagram to share the "Dabangg" star's first look video from the movie.
4.BJP claims 'security lapses' in Nadda's Bengal visit
In a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh claimed that the police allowed a mob of around 200 people, carrying bamboo sticks, to raise slogans, demonstrate and show black flags to Nadda during his visit to the state.
5. Abhishek Bachchan-starrer 'Bob Biswas' wraps shoot
The shooting on the crime thriller 'Bob Biswas', starring Abhishek Bachchan in the title role, is complete, the makers announced on Thursday. Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment along with Sujoy Ghosh's Bound Script Production, the film went on floors in January but was postponed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
