On two separate occasions due to social distancing, Len Gibbon, 96, began cycling on VE Day to cover the distance from Portsmouth to Gold Beach by D-Day while his friend, Peter Hawkins, 95, also took on the challenge.

7. BJP's preparation in full gear for Shah's virtual rally today

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address a virtual rally for the people of Bihar on Sunday to kickstart the Bihar assembly elections campaign. In another big development, Delhi Government has decided to withdraw the 'special corona fee' levied at 70 per cent of the maximum retail price on all categories of liquor, with effect from June 10, 2020.

10. FIR against Uttar Pradesh teacher who withdrew over Rs 1 Cr in salary from 25 schools

The police have registered an FIR against Anamika Shukla who had allegedly withdrawn Rs 1 crore as annual salary working simultaneously in 25 schools for 13 months.
