2. India to China: Massive PLA deployment along LAC 'flash points'
Amid the ongoing border dispute between India and China, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar told his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi that the presence of such large concentration of troops along the LAC was not in accordance with the 1993 and 1996 agreements. He went on saying that the Chinese side has not provided a credible explanation for this deployment.
