Ministry of Defence has decided to introduce import embargo on 101 items, an attempt to promote indigenous weapons over foreign ones. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that this step will give a big boost to the defence sector and make India self-reliant.
2. Covid-19 hospital fire in Vijayawada leaves 10 dead, PM Modi condoles loss of lives
At least ten people died after a fire broke out a Covid makeshift hospital at around 5 am in the morning in Andhra's Vijayawada on Sunday morning. The fire engulfed the Swarna Palace Hotel, which was taken on lease by Ramesh Hospital, was converted to Covid care facility to treat the patients.
3. PM launches financing facility worth Rs 1 lakh crore under Agri-Infra Fund
