1. Gurjar reservation movement to start from Pilupura today

The agitation by Gujjar community over the reservation issue is scheduled to begin from the martyr site at Pilupura on Sunday. The announcement for the same was made two days ago by the convener of the Gurjar Reservation Conflict Committee, Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla at a press conference at his home where he said that the government has not acceded to any of their demands, hence, leaving them with no option but protest.

The Supreme Court has dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking withdrawal of Z+ security cover given to Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family while observing that it is for the State to assess and review the threat perception of individual and take a call on such issues.
