Patna: At least three farmers belonging to different districts in Bihar were killed by unknown miscreants within 24 hours. Farmers from Nalanda, Vaishali and Rohtas districts were killed triggering panic in the state.
In the first incident reported from Dharampur village falling under Hilsa police station limits, a farmer was stabbed to death by some miscreants. His eyes were gouged out. According to reports received, the farmer was busy guarding his crops in the field when the incident happened. The deceased has been identified as Naresh Prasad.
Another farmer Mukhlal Rai was reportedly killed by goons with a sharp object. Reports suggest that Rai was stabbed several times while he went to sleep in the fields on Thursday night.

In the third incident, Shashikant Rai was shot dead at Ghuranpipra village under Kargahar police station limits in Rohtas. Like the other two farmers, Shashikant Rai was guarding his crops in the field.
