New Delhi: Stressing that there should be no politics on coronavirus crisis in India, Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi consulted all concerned before imposing the first phase of coronavirus-induced lockdown in the country.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Tyagi said, "There should be no politics over the issue as it's a question of life and death of over 130 crore citizens of the country".
"If we survive the crisis, there could be politics also but at the moment there should not be any politics as far coronavirus is concerned," he said, adding that Modi had talks with all chief ministers, officials concerned and a former Prime Minister before taking a decision on lockdown.
