Guwahati: The Core Group for Tibetan Cause India, during a press conference in Guwahati, strongly condemned acts of Communist China. The group's national convenor R K Khrimey demanded that the Indian government should send out a strong message to China by conferring India’s highest civilian award Bharat Ratna on Dalai Lama, the octogenarian icon of the protest against the communist country’s occupation of Tibet.
During the press conference, the group stated that Communist China repeated act of aggressions which resulted in the face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley of Ladakh killing 20 Indian soldiers on the midnight of June 15.
The skirmish between Indian and Chinese soldiers at the southern bank of Pangong Lake on the night of August 29 and August 30 resulting in the death of Special Frontier Force (SFF) Coy Leader Nyima Tenzin are highly condemnable, it said.
