Hyderabad (Telangana): Haneef Ali, Member Central Waqf Council on Tuesday said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar must be booked under provisions of the Criminal Act for the demolition of religious structures at Secretariat Complex on July 7.
Further, he alleged that places of worship are continuously being demolished in Telangana.
"It is very sad that after the formation of Telangana State, places of worship are being demolished continuously. Recently at Secretariat one Temple and two mosques have been demolished. Right now, the whole world is busy fighting the coronavirus pandemic but our Chief Minister is busy demolishing the structure. It is a criminal act, and Telangana Chief Minister and Chief Secretary are responsible for this criminal act, and whoever had demolished it must be booked under the Criminal Act," he said.
