Gujarat: Surat-based textile businessmen Chhotubhai and Rajat Dawar, who have an establishment in Surat's Universal Textile Market by the Name of AlliA Fabrics, have launched Kangana Ranaut's Printed Fancy pure Crepe Saree. The saree has a slogan "I Support Kangana Ranaut" written with a beautiful picture of the actress on it.
This support from Surat comes when the actress and the Maha Vikas Aghadi government have been locked in a bitter war of words over the former's comparison of Mumbai with 'Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Kangana's office was also partly razed by BMC with the civic body claiming that the property has alleged 'illegal alterations'.
Talking to ETV Bharat, the businessmen said, "The Maharashtra government's war to defame a woman is completely wrong and we condemn it. Her property was damaged in her absence and she was also threatened by the Shiv Sena as they dared her to 'land' in Mumbai".
Hailing her move to fight back, they said, "But the way Kangana has given a befitting reply is inspiring. This is the reason why we are expressing our solidarity with Kangana and launched a designer saree.
AlliA Fabrics is known for its premium fancy fabrics and is especially popular among Bollywood designers. Their business is extensive in textile mandis like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai etc. Recently, when 'Boycott China' campaign was organized across the country, they also took part in it.
