Subhash garg appointed as finance secretary

Cabinet committee of appointment has appointed Subhash Chandra Garg as the Finance Secretary and Mansukh Aadhia as the chancellor of the Gujarat University.

New Delhi: In a major decision before the election code of conduct comes into effect, the central Governmnet has taken two major appointment.

The cabinet committee of appointment has appointed Subhash Chandra Garg as the Finance Secretary.

However, in a notification President Ramnath Kovind has appointed former finance secretary Mansukh Aadhia as the chancellor of the Gujarat University.

Both the appointments assumes special significance just ahead of the forthcoming general election. Sources, said that both Garg and Aadhai are in good books of the Modi Government.
