Hyderabad: Amid lot of uncertainties with the parents and students to forgo examinations for a better assessment in the upcoming year, educationist and former chairman of CBSE urged students not to forgo examinations. He advised the students to go ahead and also suggested that parents should deal with this matter seriously.
While talking to ETV Bharat, former Chairman of CBSE Ashok Ganguly said, "There has been a lot of apprehensions with the students as they were well prepared for the examinations. I have spoken to students about it and have suggested them not to forgo examinations this year. I told them categorically that they may not get the right marks in the examinations or they may find difficulty in building a good career option and right subject combination next year if they miss out on this year."
"Stressing upon the need for the parents to look into this matter, educationist, Ganguly added, "Students should go ahead and give the examinations this year. Accept the board results and if necessary, appear for the improvement examination. But don't forgo examinations and waste an entire academic year. I would also suggest the parents to look into this matter and make their kids understand."
