'Stability must in South Asia to improve India-Pak relation'

Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari said that the main focus should be to maintain stability in South Asia as relation between India and Pakistan is sensitive.

New Delhi: In the wake of prevailing tension between India and Pakistan, former union minister and Congress spokesman Manish Tewari on Friday stressed that maintaining stability in South Asia should be the prime focus as the situation between both nations is passing through critical times.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Tewari said, "Recent attacks on both nations had a negative impact on India-Pakistan relationship."

A programme on 'Electoral Dynamics and Contours of Party System Run-up to 2019' was held under the aegis of the department of political science of Delhi University.

The former minister took the opportunity to launch his book "Fables of Fracture Times" at the conference.

Ambassador KC Singh and political commentator Pranjoya Guha Thakurta were present in the program. Students from different colleges of Delhi University attended the program.
