Sonu Sood helps man get hip replacement surgery

Actor Sonu Sood has helped Yakub in getting done his total hip replacement marathon surgery at AIIMS hospital in New Delhi. The expenses of his surgeries and implants have been borne by Sood while AIIMS has provided concession for hospital stay and doctors.

New Delhi:Reel-life villain Sonu Sood has emerged as a real-life hero by extending help to countless people. Even after lockdown, he is helping people at the time of their needs. One such example is Yakub whose has been given a new life after Sonu Sood provided financial aid for his Total Hip Replacement Surgery at AIIMS Hospital.

Since the past four years, Yakub was unable to move from his bed but now after his surgery, he not only stands and walks but also climbs up stairs easily.

The expenses of Yakub's surgeries and implants have been borne by Sonu Sood while AIIMS has provided the facility of hospital stay and doctors to the ailing patient.

AIIMS Assistant Professor Dr Amarinder Singh informed that the whole case is confidential but Yakub has been given a new life with the combined efforts of Sonu Sood and AIIMS hospital.

Dr Rajesh Malhotra of Orthopedic Department of AIIMS, Dr Chitra and Dr Deepak Gautam have jointly made this surgery successful through total hip replacement marathon surgery.

The way Sonu Sood has been helping the needy since the past six months is truly praiseworthy and the nation needs such dedicated people for more humanitarian efforts.
