New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to Delhi’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday, was discharged on Sunday afternoon. Her condition is said to be stable.
"Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on July 30, has been discharged today. Her condition at the time of discharge was stable," said Chairman (Board of Management), Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi.
He added, "She was admitted for routine tests & investigations."
The 73-year-old Congress patron was admitted to the hospital for 'routine tests and investigations as per the hospital sources. She was admitted to the Ganga Ram Hospital in February this year after she had complained of stomach ache. She was under the care of Dr Arup Kumar Basu, a chest and respiratory medicine specialist.
