Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Soil and Bhasma (ashes) from Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple will be sent to Ayodhya for the August 5 ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ ceremony of the Ram temple.
It is believed that Lord Ram came to Ujjain and stayed near the Shipra river after which one of the banks of the river was named Ram Ghat.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, leader of Awaahn Akhara and the central guiding member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Acharya Shekhar said that after pooja of the Shipra river and the Mahakaal temple, he will leave for Ayodhya with the soil and the bhasmaof the Mahakaleshwar temple.
