New Delhi: Former cricketer and Punjab minister Navjot Singh Siddhu has alleged the Prime minister Narendra Modi of doing the politics of divide and rule.

Campaigning for the Congress candidate in Indore, Sidhu dared Modi to contest elections on issues such as jobs, demonetisation and GST.

Sidhu scoffed in his familiar style, "I had watched films such as Hero Number One, Coolie Number One and Biwi Number One. But these days, Modi's new movie is coming - Feku Number One.

He alleged that Modi is dividing people on caste and religion lines.

"Congress is the party that gave freedom to the country. It is the party of Maulana Azad and Mahatma Gandhi. They gave us freedom from the Britishers and the people of Indore will free this country from 'Kale Angrez' (black Britishers)," said Sidhu.

He further alleged that Modi govt has failed to keep the promises such as to clean the Ganga, provide 2 crore jobs and in bringing back the black money to India.

The star campaigner for the Congress also alleged that PM only resorts to lies and his whole clan is a liar.

Slamming PM on Rafale jet deal, he said, "Modi appeals people to get a fixed bill from the shopkeeper even if they buy a pen of 10 rupees. But when it comes to surface the bill of Rafale jet purchase then he starts bubbling."
