Sharpshooter held for allegedly plotting Salman Khan's murder

Sharpshooter Rahul alias Sanga of Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been arrested by the Faridabad police for allegedly plotting actor Salman Khan's murder. Police revealed that the murder was plot due to resentment against Khan over blackbuck poaching.

Pauri: Faridabad Police have arrested sharpshooter Rahul alias Sanga of Lawrence Bishnoi gang for allegedly plotting actor Salman Khan's murder. According to police, he was arrested from Uttarakhand on August 15 for killing a Faridabad resident who ran a ration depot, on June 24.

Police revealed that the murder was plot due to resentment against Khan over blackbuck poaching.

DCP of Faridabad, Rajesh Duggal said, "Police have arrested sharpshooter Rahul of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Questioning revealed that he travelled to Mumbai in January to conduct a recce of actor Salman Khan's apartment on Bishnoi's orders due to resentment against Khan over blackbuck poaching."

Meanwhile, the police have also arrested four others for helping gangster Rahul in the other criminal cases.

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged in a Rajasthan jail. He has more than 50 cases registered against him. He is known as a terror in the states of Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
