New Delhi: Embracing the centre's move to extend the nationwide lockdown for another two weeks, BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain on Friday took to the micro-blogging site and urged the migrant labour to have some patience during these tough times.
"The government has decided to extend nationwide lockdown for two weeks, with some relaxation in Green and orange zones. This doesn't mean that we have to roam freely. Follow the lockdown norms to break the chain of the deadly virus", Shahnawaz tweeted in Hindi.
As the government has decided to give some relaxation to the 'orange' and 'green' zones, he urged the daily wage earners to stay wheresoever they are.
"You people were migrated from your hometown in order to earn a better livelihood. Factories and construction sites will be operational in less contaminated areas. So, try to stay wheresoever you are. Our government has left no stone unturned for your safety and betterment", said Shahnawaz in a video attached with his tweet.
