Seven killed as car rams into trailer in Assam

The Bolero jeep carrying seven passengers crashed into a parked trailer near Lepetkata on National Highway 37 at high speed killing all of them.

Dibrugarh (Assam):At least seven people were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into a parked trailer truck in Assam's Dibrugarh.

The incident took place on National Highway 37 when the Bolero jeep lost control and hit a parked trailer truck at high speed.

They were en route to Dibrugarh town from Dhemaji.

After the incident, the top officials reached the spot and passengers were taken to the Assam Medical College.

The doctors, however, declared them brought dead.
