Hyderabad: There seems to be no end to the tensions continuing for the last seven months in eastern Ladakh. Dragon is moving forward with the long-term goal of weakening India economically by maintaining status quo, there by putting intense pressure on India. Dozens of talks were held between the two countries at the level of brigade commanders.

Several discussions were held at the level of External Affairs Department officials. However, no result was forthcoming. While pretending to agree that such a situation is not good for anyone, that country is continuing its evil plots. Agreeing to the decision to stay away from measures that increase tensions and to maintain calm at the Line of Actual Control, it is digging new silos to create tensions in future.

Alert round the clock

Although a Panchasutra plan was designed during talks between Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Moscow, the dragon subsequently paid no heed to it. It has not retreated an inch from the vicinity of Pyongyang lake, which has become a tense area.

In addition to maintaining its 60,000 troops there, it is building new villages in Arunachal Pradesh and near Indo-Tibetan border. The same thing was confirmed by the Indian Commander-in-Chief a few days ago. It was also revealed that Indian forces are constantly monitoring the activities of Chinese troops in the Doklam area. China is making arrangements to place the Han Chinese people and members of the Communist Party in Tibet in areas where there are no military forces on its borders. It has also deployed fishermen in the past to assert its right over the South China Sea. It is now preparing to use herdsmen to increase infiltration in the Himalayas. It is plotting to perpetuate tensions across the entire border.

India has deployed nearly 50,000 troops in eastern Ladakh bordering China, as there is no way out of the border dispute in the near future. The region now experiences temperatures ranging from minus 20 to minus 40 degrees Celsius and heavy snowfall. Our country has already imported the latest warm clothing from America for the soldiers and provided all the facilities necessary to withstand the extreme cold weather. For the last 30 years our army has been operating in the Siachen and Kargil sectors -- almost equally cold places. We have the experience of waging three wars with Pakistan in these areas under the same conditions. While our military is at home with the present situation, the Chinese military, which has had no such experience for almost forty years, is in trouble. It is also struggling to provide proper facilities to its soldiers. It was reported that the Dragon‌ army was dissatisfied with the hasty supply of substandard clothing. Information is that many soldiers are dying as the extremely cold weather is new to them. Against this background they are constantly changing their forces.

Self-reliance is essential

India needs to take tougher defence measures to crack down on Pak, Chinese atrocities. In addition to equipping with sophisticated weapons the focus should be on achieving mastery in field tactics as quickly as possible. Our country has already imposed a ban on almost 210 Chinese apps in three instalments as a tit for tat. Measures need to be stepped up to put more pressure on that country financially. The value of Imports from China is three times more than our exports. That is why we need to think of an alternative to imports and improve the chances of making them in India at cheaper cost. Already, the United States and Australia are changing their laws to prevent and control China. The 'quad' which has India, the United States, Japan and Australia as members should take effective measures to reduce the prevalence of the dragon. Before that, our country urgently needs to improve diplomatic relations with Pakistan and non-Chinese border countries.

Conspiracy along with Pak

Since the US has almost suspended the financial aid to Pakistan, which has become a haven for terrorism, and refusing to provide even modern weapons, Pakistan took shelter under China. Taking advantage of this, China is preparing strategies to harass us even from the Pak territory. As part of this, conspiracies are being hatched under the name CEPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor), which being built at a cost of $ 70 billion. The two countries have decided to deploy 25,000 troops along the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Pakistan-India border on the pretext of protecting the corridor. Dragon‌ will equip the Pak army with the most advanced weapons. Once the corridor is completed, China will be able to reach the Indian Ocean faster. In addition, it has decided to sell eight state-of-the-art submarines and a defence helicopter to Pakistan. On the other hand, a few months ago, the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) also set up an office in Pakistan for the establishment of cyber, electronic warfare and modern surveillance facilities. All these are conspiracies hatched by the dragon to trouble India in every way.
