New Delhi: Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy, on Wednesday said that the use of IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) is gaining attention both in India and the world as it requires minimum effort and stressed that security forces should have the technology and strategy to prevent such attacks in the future.
"Use of IEDs is gaining attention not only in India but also globally as it requires minimum effort. Security forces need technology, strategy and capabilities to prevent such attacks," said Reddy while inaugurating the 20th international seminar on 'Comprehends the Evolving Contours of Terrorism and IED Threat-Way ahead for the Security Community.'
The programme took place at Manesar in Haryana.

Reddy also said that the global community need to come together and put a united front against terrorism as it is a common enemy and nations across the world are facing the menace, suffering both economic and social losses.
