21 opposition parties had filed a petition in the SC demanding 50 percent of countercheck of paper trail of all EVMs. The opposition parties including TDP, SP, JD(S), Congress, CPM, CPI, AAP among others have unanimously decided to file a fresh petition in the SC after apex court rejected their earlier claim.
The leaders demanded that if the counting between EVM and VVPAT doesn't match, VVPAT count needs to prevail.
