New Delhi:A Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde on Wednesday allowed Karti Chidamabaram to withdraw Rs. 10 crore - an amount that he had deposited in the apex court as security for being allowed to travel abroad.
In February, earlier this year, Karti Chidamabaram, son of former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, was allowed to travel abroad for the tennis tournament.

Karti Chidambaram is one of the accused in the INX media case which is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The matter relates to the approval of Rs 305 crore (more than the upper limit) by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) when his father was the finance minister in 2007 under the UPA government.
