Kolkata (West Bengal):The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday interrogated Kolkata police officer Prabhakar Nath in the multi-crore Saradha Chit Fund scam case.
Nath, who was the first officer to investigate the case, appeared for questioning at the CBI office in the CGO Complex in West Bengal's Kolkata.
The officer was interrogated by the investigating agency for almost an hour.
On Sunday, the CBI had summoned former Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar to be present at the agency’s CGO Complex office by 10 am on Monday for interrogation in connection to the ponzi scam, but Kumar didn't show up citing personal reasons.
