New Delhi:Jharkhand Education Minister Neera Yadav sparked a row when he claimed that Sanskrit or Hindi should be included in the school curriculum in a special meeting of the Central Education Advisory Board on National Education Policy held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday.
The meeting was also attended by Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' and education ministers of the states.
"A suggestion of having Anganwadi centers and primary schools on the same campus was made. We also pointed out to make science more interesting, facilitated with good infrastructural labs as students are losing interest in the subject," said Neera Yadav.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Yadav said that a request was made to consider the jobs of para-teachers as opposed to regular teachers as they cannot be removed straight away.
