New Delhi: Concerned over the aggravated Indo-Pak tension post-Pulwama terror attack, Russia on Thursday asked both the countries 'to show some restraint' in the ongoing current border situation.

The press secretary of President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov said they are keeping a track on the development of events and Moscow is deeply concerned over the aggravation of relations between India and Pakistan.

Peskov has also appealed to both the sides to show restraint.

"We are extremely concerned about the news coming in. We are very closely monitoring the situation and, of course, we urge all parties to show restraint," said a Kremlin spokesperson.

In a joint meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia, India and China (RIC), the three nations strongly condemned terrorism of all forms and called on the international community, United Nations to strongly counter global terrorism.

Earlier, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj raised the recent Pulwama suicide attack in her crucial bilateral meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, a day after India destroyed a major Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) terror training camp in Pakistan.
