However, Sanjay Paswan further elaborated that RJD is trying to reintroduce its electoral style of 1995 by bringing the upper caste faces back to the party but it will never be able to get successful as all the upper caste voters are in support of BJP.

"If Nitish Kumar continues to be with BJP then he of course should become the Chief Minister for the next tenure and if he parts his way with the party then Nityanand Rai should be considered as the chief ministerial candidate as he hails from Yadav community" Sanjay Paswan reiterated.

According to party source, the RJD does not consider the ruling JD (U) a contender in the next elections. The party is preparing to launch a campaign against the BJP. Under this campaign, Tejashwi Yadav will visit different constituencies and will encourage the workers.

RJD sources say that RJD is also eyeing such leaders including Ramai Ram, Uday Narayan Chaudhary, Vrishni Patel who are angry with the BJP and its allies.

Bihar polls, on the other hand are scheduled later this year.
