New Delhi:Amid the huge uproar, two key farm bills were passed on Sunday in the Rajya Sabha, while the leaders of the opposition alleged that the proceedings and voting process of Parliament did not happen democratically and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Derek O'Brien even reaching the Deputy Chairman's table, tearing up the copy of the Rule Book and pulling his mike.
Despite the high voltage drama, the bills were passed but now the role of Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh is being questioned.
Joining the opposition, Yogendra Yadav, a close friend of Harivansh and leader of Swaraj India has also questioned his role and advised him to resign. He also released a video saying that today will be remembered as a black chapter in the history of the country.

Yadav via the video expressed his disappointment and said that only way Singh can atone for what he let happen is by resigning.

"What happened in the Rajya Sabha under your leadership today is a dark chapter in the history of this country. When the farmer of the country will see the history, he will remember what happened in Rajya Sabha today and your name will come.
